Red Vinyl Records recording artists “Dirty District” represents the evolution of music. The group is comprised of Brazilian born Jair “Eaz” Pereira (pictured below left), and Jamaican born Ryon “Tef” Royes (pictured below right).
Dirty District’s sound refuses to be labeled by any one particular style. The members of Dirty District contribute their own influences and experiences to produce the group’s unique sound — an international blend of hip-hop, pop and electronic music. The uniqueness of Dirty District’s music resonates with its loyal fan base – the “Citizens.”
Eaz and Tef met back in 2006 through a mutual friend. Based on their common love of music, the duo began recording music as a hobby. On the advice of friends and family, Dirty District took their hobby and made it their passion. From that point Eaz and Tef (then known as the group, “1-50-1”) started performing at local venues and began garnering attention from record labels. After much patients and perseverance, Dirty District signed a recording contract with Red Vinyl Records in 2011.
