David was the lead singer, guitarist, and song writer for Satya Graha. Satya Graha released their first album with Ardvark Records in the UK. Satya Graha has been featured in a Bilbolaget (Swedish Car Franchise) commerical, has been featured in US TV Show Hellcats, and has received a nominated for BBC Radio 6 “Song of the Year 2004”. After their release of “Under the Skin”, the band parted ways.
After the split, David Vella decided to pursue his solo career and traveled to Las Vegas Nevada to record his first solo album, appropriately titled, “Sorry.” The album was recorded at Olive Branch Studios and was released in 2012.
David Vella currently resides in Austin Texas and plays locally while working on his second album.
In addition, it might be worht mentioning that David Vella auditioned for "The Voice" in Dallas and made past the first round (which only 90 people passed out of thousands) but didn't make through round two. Image of David passing through round one can be found here:
