Lashay “Honeydip” Corley Born August 5, 1986 has been rapping since the age of 13 and as a surprise to many she writes her own lyrics as well as lyrics for other artist. She has numerous songs under her belt which can be found on SoundCloud and ReverbNation just to name a few.
Honeydip is well-known in Charlotte North Carolina and surrounding areas and has been in many shows such as The Next Up Artist Showcase on June 29, 2012 and contest such as Making the Next Big Hit Season 3 where she is in the 3rd round. Honeydip is also nominated to the Carolina Music Awards which will be held July 15, 2012 as being one of North Carolina’s Best Female Hip Hop Artist. She has opened up on stage for a couple of well-known artist such as Pastor Troy and Juvenile.
Honeydip is an Indie Artist under Another Realm Entertainment a Company that was started May 10, 2012 by Beverly L. Corley her Mom and Manager. She has a couple of Distributions Deals with one being with Universal Records where her song “In Da Club” is being sold on Itunes. She also has a video “In Da Club” which is on Youtube and after 3 weeks has five thousand plus views, that’s says a lot about her music and her career. “Honeydip” resides in Charlotte North Carolina and has two children. Making major moves and being on her grind is what makes “Honeydip” one of a kind.
