Singer/Songwriter

Stormy " DeSyree" Seal, singer/songwriter,, and daughter of musician and producer manuel seal Jr. was born in the small town of Freeport IL. She is most commonly referred to As "The Girl next door Jazzy style singer with a new age twist." A Gorgeous Singer and Songwriter with CHICAGO JAZZ VOCALS FUSED WITH A POP AND R&B and crossover TWIST !" She first got her start in the art of music at the young age of 6 when she began singing and started songwriting at 10. DeSyree made first made it evident to everyone that she was born to shine when she was chosen by photographer Cari Noga at the tender age of 5 to be featured in a newspaper article entitled (This weeks spotlight/Behmer's Fantasy-Land during a kindergarten class trip. In the 3rd grade she participated in her school Choir and being a military brat offered her extensive opportunities to showcase her talents in many places around the world. At 13 she began entering in talent shows and karaoke events for the youth as well as joined a teen talent showcase hosted through a military benefits program in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. At the age of 14 her mother put her through a summer songwriting Camp for which she completed successfully and achieved an award.

As the daughter of the Grammy award winning Manuel Seal she spent as much time as she could during visits in the studio with him and was fortunate enough to sit in sessions with artists such as R&B girl group “Cherish” and male R&B singer "Mario" during some of their first up-coming projects through ages 13-16. Noticing her talents her father sent her to attend artist development classes at 16 with a well known professional who taught her about stage presence and proper vocal techniques. While visiting her mother in Okinawa, Japan one summer she linked up with local producers "J.D. Porro” and Brandon "Embrace" Washington at 17 and recorded her first demo CD of her original songs (Take Me Away, On My Mind, Thinking About You, and Make Me Cry.) She also began performing at local bars/clubs that she could get in, networking with producers and recording hooks for independent label projects.

Around that time she booked live shows for Birthday parties and Bashes and other community events during her station with her mother in Okinawa, Japan and Hawaii. Later in 2008 at age 19 she took time to work and save up to fund for the recording of her first album and picked up commercial print modeling as a side gig. She then became an internet sensation posing for online magazines such as her appearance for (Crunked Magazine Online. )

In late 2008 she was recommended by a friend to an underground rapper named "Boston George" In Harvey, IL. who needed a female singer for his song "Journey For Love." After laying the hook she caught the interest of C.E.O. "Dj-p" also known as "Emperor P”, and later signed to the label to become Diesil-Land's “First Lady" and Company assistant. In 2009 she composed the Female Anthem "Lady Luxury" for a ladies social club "The Ladies Of Luxury" in Illinois which received rotation in various clubs around Illinois such as Club "Whats Up" As well as features on Coast to Coast Mix-tapes, along with her original song "Grown Woman".  Her   debut album "Enigma" has been sold on the streets of the midwest, and overseas, as well as over 300 online cd digital distribution sites including Itunes. She has also recieved radio play for her song "G5 planes" on U.K.'s popular 89.6.
