Clay Cowan was born on March 14, 1989, in Rockville, Maryland. Raised in a neighborhood with several aspiring musicians, Cowan recognized his vocal abilities while attending elementary school and fell in love with music. With encouragement from friends and family; Cowan began to write, produce, and record R&B songs. Cowan sites his musical influences as “definitely my Qdubb fam…y’all know who y’all are…Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Luther Vandross, R Kelly, Tank, Ginuwine, Ray J, Musiq Soulchild, and N’ Sync.” After spending several years honing his skills, Clay Cowan is ready to show the world the superstar he is.
