Hawk Junya, (born Michael Hawkins, October 28, 1986) is an American[1] rap artist[2] that hails from Pennsylvania.[3] He has style that has been characterized as "club music."[4][5] His early years started in Ohio where he lived up to the age of 14 when he moved to Pittsburgh, PA. Hawk Junya "Michael Hawkins" was always known for his lyrical ability[6] to do street battles with other rappers. He was tall for his age and had a presence that resonanted with others. His began doing shows and performing[7] in the local area gaining respect of his peers.[8] Currently an independent artist,[9] Junya says "I talk about what I do and see everyday."[10][11]
He is currently working on his next project scheduled for release in 2013 utilizing producers from Atlanta, Miami and Pennsylvania.[12][13]
