BIO:
A singer from the age of 5, M.C. Pollock gained a strong background in vocalization, instrumentation, and composition. At a young age, he learned hot to sight read an perform music as a language of communion. His love an enjoyment of that language — combined with experiences ranging from childhood choir training at Trinity Church, Princeton, to an Afro-Brazilian percussion apprenticeship in Bahia, Brazil — pushed Pollock to develop abilities in several instruments, and — drawing on addition influences from funk, pop, and soul — he continues to infuse his vocal performances with a wide range of musical skills.
A rising star in the Central New Jersey area, the singer formed his band in Angels in 2011 to propel mainstream music toward his music with the flavor of a live band. The resulting dish is a zestful combination of tasteful sound and spicy musical performance. Pollock summons a clear vocal tone to command consistent attention, conducting sound and movement to evoke a complete concert experience. Moving beyond musicianship, he cultivates a dynamic stage presence that keeps audiences entertained and excited.
M.C. Pollock is currently independently signed, having performed at venues such as Mexicali Live in Teaneck, Trenton Social, and the Princeton Arts Council. He looks forward to performing throughout the Tri-State area and beyond, and welcomes opportunities for musical expansion and experiences of pleasure.
